A CRAIG HORNER AND BRIDGET REAGAN SPECIAL FEATURES PICSPAM!




Okay, so I knew that Craig has a bit of a 'surfer dude' background (and apparently has questionable fashion sense - a pink tank top, Craig? REALLY?) but let's all take a moment to discuss:

WHAT THE HELL IS CRAIG WEARING?!


At first glance, you think it might be a black button up shirt. While it does have a high collar, it has a wrap-around front and a tie under his armpit and a second tie closer to his waist. HUH?

(Is this like some Asian-fusion inspired male shirt? Is this an Australian fashion that I just don't understand? Is Craig trying to impress Bridget with his laid-back clothes?)

Craig is lucky his face is so cute because it's the only reason Bridget is still smiling adoringly at him despite his wardrobe malfunction.



OTHER THOUGHTS:

+ I don't know why, but I just LOVE when people describe him as having a 'natural openness' and a 'light' style of acting that makes him easy to work with, accessible and likable. Oh Craig Horner, you're so perfect for Richard. *smush*
+ I love that she does so much of her own stunts and that they incorporated her dancing background into her 'flowing' fight style.
+ I love the bit about having two co-leads and a male and female hero fighting side-by-side each other as equals.

+ Aww, Bridget is a California girl.



+ Craig is certainly a hand-talker. Look at his arms move!



+
Um, OF COURSE cuddling is necessary when doing a set tour!

What I like about this show is that I don't feel like either of them is the sidekick. They are co-leads and despite Richard's placement on promo posters, the show does a really good job of having them be equals.

Well I think the books show best that Kahlan has her own mission and that she's a co-lead. While it is the intention in the tv show to do the same, Kahlan has changed from the first 4 episodes and now she's more of a love sick puppy. A pity, really. I still love her character but, as a fan of both shows, comparing Kahlan and Gabrielle is inevitable.

AH THESE PEOPLE ARE MY FAVOURITEST THINGS. I LOVE THINKING ALL SMUGLY ABOUT HOW MY REAL PEOPLE (LIES!) SHIP ARE THE CUTEST THING ON THE PLANET.

But really, I was so happy when I finally watched these features. Over the summer my LoTS love had kind of been simmering on the back burner, but seeing the giddy again kicked my squee into overdrive. I stayed up far too late, rereading my LoTS tags, rereading fics (of which you wrote HALF &hearts) and generally getting excited for them to be on my tv again soon.

I haven't even seen this show yet but these two are so cuuute! Especially Bridget, she's gorgeous!
And you know what, I WISH I could say I've never seen guys walking around in a pink tank top like that, but I think in QLD especially there are a lot of guys that just wear tank tops like that, board shorts and flip flops every day in summer haha. Especially if you're surfing, I would wager, because you can get those tank tops for like $10 and if you lose it, eh, walk home shirtless.

Guys walk around in tank tops in the summer here too, but mainly just white (sometimes black) but never really colours, let alone pink.

YEAH she's a California girl! She's from my hometown.(And the strange thing is--when she lived in NYC prior to LotS, she lived like three blocks from my old apartment, according to some Hulu interview. I'd love to talk about the crazy San Diego-->NYC shift with her, lol.)

Also, are we sure Craig is straight...?
