My last TV comparison was centred in Fantasy, this one is centred on two of my favourite Sci-Fi shows.
Fringe and Sarah Connor Chronicles have been two of my very favourite shows in the last few years and at first I didn't think there were many similarities outside of Hot Chicks With Guns.
But now there are prophecies about the male son saving/destroying the world. There are people in love with the wrong people, robots/men from alternate universes, respectively. There are men holding babies and women with cybernetic arms. There are gadgets galore and super-soldiers built by redheaded CEOs. There are perky blond girls, meant to anchor the heroes to reality, keep them from falling in with the freaky crowd (which they do anyway).
They are both pretty shows with pretty people. Along with fantastic soundtracks, they both have great writing and complex characters that are badass. I highly recommend both.
